Great Call

With all the crazy action we'd be remiss if we didn't recount a great call by WPT titleholder Will 'the Thrill" Failla.

On the last hand of Level 8, the board showed K♣ 3♠ 4♥ 8♥ 8♦ and after Failla checked, Ryan Eriquezzo moved all in and has Failla's 24k covered. That's when the drama unfolds.

Failla goes deep into the tank that eats up half of the 15 minute break. Except for shuffling his chips, Eriquezzo is statuesque.

After 10 minutes, Failla puts his chips in the middle and says, "alright, call." Eriquezzo says, "good call," and tosses his cards into the muck.

Failla turns over 3♣ 6♠ for two pairs, and the small audience of 15 are impressed with the play.

"I trusted my read," says Failla as he doubles 24k. Eriquezzo goes from 60k to 34k.
