$2500 + $200 CHAMPIONSHIP Double Play Re-Entry NLH
Table 9 declared themselves the "non-action table". Sure, they lost two players but that's it all day. Some players are afraid they're just gonna pass chips back and forth to each other and barely limp into Day-2.
Kirkor Tekneci (Joshua Park, NY) decided to change the table's tight image - or maybe he was just showing off for the media. Either way, he just took down the biggest pot of the day at table 9 with only Q-4 off-suit.
He raised pre, fired hard on an action flop, then fired 6,000 on the turn.
Flop: 7-6-4-5
"I got you on the flop" said Kirkor who looked very confident. Opponent folded the winning hand as Kirkor showed the Q-4 for bottom pair and had a laugh.
2011 Borgata Spring Poker Open Championship Russel Crane is also at table 9 looking to build his stack.
