$400 + $50 No Limit Hold'em (Re-Entry)
Admittedly Ryan Eriquezzo (Danbury, CT) seems to quietly accumulate chips early in tournaments, but sometimes hits a speed bump along the way. "The key is hanging on to them," says the Borgata regular who's sitting with 110k.
"Gradual stacking," says one player who's watched Eriquezzo send several people to the rail without winning any huge pots.
"I always have the nuts," says Eriquezzo about today's play, as he looks to continue his 2011 success.
Eriquezzo made a deep run in the last Borgata Poker Open Championship Event (22nd/$19,000) to make up for a disappointing finish in Event 2 of the series after he was third in chips heading into Day 2.
Eriquezzo now has 14 Borgata cashes including the biggest cash of his career ($72,000) when he won the won the 6-max tournament during the Winter Open.
