Event 3: Roitman On Chip-roids

$400 + $50 No Limit Hold'em

Dan Roitman (Westfield, NJ) won a huge hand against monster stack James Kaplan.

Both players held a K on a board of 2-3-K-K-6, but Roitman had the better kicker.

Dan's K-Q vs. James K-J crippled Kaplan to 8,500 and shot Roitman up to 600,000 and the tournament chip lead.

A few hands later, Kaplan was bounced out.

On Oct. 20th Dan Roitman won a charity event in NY hosted by Phil Hellmuth for Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. At the final table he beat out Phil's siter and his wife.

We'll see if Dan is in the charitable mood with his monster stack. Will he give them away?

In the meantime, the tournament has just broken down to two tables once Grace Sun made a graceful exit.
