Grandpa Jay Zimmet got very hot at the end of the tournament when it counted most. He cut through the final four like a knife through butter.
Jay is no stranger to winning Borgata Championships. On June 15, 2011 he took down Event 10 $350 +50 PLO. When he's not traveling the country playing poker, he's a partner in a health care consulting firm.
Look for Grandpa to make a showing in the Championship Event on Monday.

His winning had came as he flipped a 7-8-9-10-J high straight.
Jay Zimmet finished in 1st Place earning $7,225.
