David 'Coldstone' Inselberg

Those of us that watch the World Poker Tour know that David 'Coldstone' Inselberg narrowly missed winning the Foxwoods World Poker finals in October 2010.  He ended up taking home $325,608 for his second place finish in that event.  It was also during the televised coverage of that event that we learned of his foray into the world of ice cream, hence his new nickname 'Coldstone'.

Since that final table, Inselberg has been on a hot streak.  In November 2010, he made the final table of a tournament at the American Casino in the Dominican Republic.  In December 2010, he final-tabled two events here at Borgata's December Series, winning the second event.  Not a bad way to wrap up 2010 -- four final tables with one win.

So far this year, he has reported six cashes, including a 307th place finish in the World Series of Poker Main Event, good for over $35,000, and two cashes so far during this Fall Poker Open series.

It is no surprise that he has become a member of Team Bustout, joining other well-known pros like Chad Brown, Matt Stout, and Lee Childs.   They wear Bustout apparel, which can be found at BustoutPoker.com and travel to events sponsored by Bustout, such as their annual Dominican Republic Poker Championship.

Blue Shark Optics, which has now combined marketing efforts with Bustout, is also involved.  David is working with them to improve their sunglasses designed for playing poker.

Unfortunately David's run in the Borgata Fall Poker Open Championship event was cut short, but he's hoping to expand the scope of his poker travels in the coming years.

When not playing poker, David is a family man who goes home to Long Beach, New York, to his wife and two children.  His teenage son has already taken an interest in the game, discussing strategy and bankroll management with his dad.
